Sunny and fine

Beach in November? Pool day in January? It’s not just possible but actually likely, thanks to Mobile’s temperate, mild winters, and sunshine almost year-round. Mobile’s record January high temperature was 80 degrees, so when the rest of the country is shivering and shoveling, join us for studying on the pool deck.

We’ve got it all

Squeeze in a weight session or a barre class between lit class and lab, and refuel with your favorite guilty pleasure. From a state-of-the-art Student Recreation Center to a food court with all of your favorite options, our campus is built with student life in mind.

Take a walk on the wild side

Got some time between classes? Take a walk on the three-mile Glenn Sebastian Nature Trail on campus, which winds through 95 acres of native woodlands and wetlands home to hundreds of different species of flora and fauna. Catch a glimpse of alligators, birds, turtles, and more in their native habitat.

Beach, please

The beautiful white-sand beaches of the Gulf Coast are about an hour’s drive away, so there’s no need to wait until spring break to put your toes in the sand. In fact, it’s even close enough for a day trip to the beach. Beach study break, anyone?

Athletic facilities

You can walk from your dorm to our brand-new football stadium to cheer on our Jags to victory! It’s simply impossible to not get caught up in the spirit of JagNation on gameday! More into casual sports? Join a league team and play soccer, softball, flag football, and more on our expansive intramural fields.
