College Admissions, Paying for College
Many students, when visiting South, fall in love with our beautiful campus. They become Jags because they can’t imagine going anywhere else. Here are a few special places on campus that make our students proud to call South home. Who knows? You may fall in love, too.
Moulton Tower - This stunning 140-foot-tall bell tower, named after USA’s second president, is built in brick and stone. It’s a popular site for graduation photos and includes a plaza and amphitheater often used for special events. It’s also the tallest collegiate bell tower in the state of Alabama.
The Glenn Sebastian Nature Trail - Need to get some fresh air between classes? The Nature Trail on campus spans more than three miles of pathways along 95 acres of forest and a large pond in the middle of campus. Catch a glimpse of wildlife while walking through native pine and oak woodlands.
Campus Rec Center’s Pool - Want to take a break from swimming laps in our indoor pool and just relax? Play water volleyball, basketball, polo, or get your fitness on with an aquatic class in our outdoor pool. Read a book on one of the comfy chairs on the pool deck or relax in the hot tub: your choice!
